Many of today’s popular sea kayaks have a recess on the bow, specifically for this compass.
If your shop offers kayaks from Valley Canoe Products, Wilderness Systems, Nigel Dennis or Necky Kayaks, the chances are you can offer this fine compass to your customers.
We sell a gasket (GASKET-70P) which is custom cut for the 70p which can improve the fit on some compass molds-sold separately.
The SmartTrack Mid Pin Bracket is used on the stern of kayaks which have two holes ¾” on center. Lower hole is oval allowing adjustability. This is designed to mate with the SmartTrack Mid Pin Housing ST3818.
The Mid Pin Bracket can also be used to install a SmartTrack housing on a kayak without existing screw hole where the flat stern in narrow.
Kayaks which commonly use this bracket are Wilderness Systems/Confluence, Hurricane and Necky which have two nuts inserted at the stern during manufacturing.
