Greatland Laser was inspired by an Alaskan based outdoor
enthusiast in 1998. The mission was to develop new laser lighting products for
safety applications in the backcountry. 

Greatland used their patented technology to develop a
non-flammable, environmentally safe, handheld safety flare which is perfect for
the paddler or other outdoor pursuits. 
The rugged, waterproof design combines the safety of a laser signaling
device with the convenience of a flashlight. 

Greatland Laser Flares are an active signaling device, durable
to give years of service.  The line of a laser
light “painted” across an area makes it easy to be seen by your rescuers.  Their smallest laser flare will last up to 40
hrs of continuous use on one set of batteries.
